Last month, a member of Parliament, Paul Flynn, spoke a terrible truth about top government officials who continue to send British soldiers off to kill and be killed. For the powerful, that was unacceptable. This video shows what happened on the floor of the House of Commons.

We need to light a fire for truth under the elected officials in Washington who keep winking and nodding for war. Please read below.

After eleven years of U.S. warfare in Afghanistan, the twisted ethos of perpetual war goes virtually unchallenged among the 100 members of the U.S. Senate. With undue presidential power for making war, the deference is deafening — and deadly. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

No one in today’s Senate comes close to the record of Senator Wayne Morse, who was willing to directly challenge the president of his own party as the war in Vietnam gathered momentum.

Click here to let your Senators know that the current evasions and doubletalk are unacceptable. We want an end to endless war!

Senator Morse, speaking in 1964, puts the Senators of 2012 to shame. Take a look.

Morse was a Senator who revered the U.S. Constitution — including Article 1, Section 8, which gives Congress the power “to declare war.”

By clicking here, you can let your Senators know that you’re fed up with perpetual war — and you intend to hold them to a high standard.
